Behind the Blooms: Vintage Floral at Dust Temple 🌹
For our Romance in Bloom campaign, we were looking for somewhere that felt a little unexpected , romantic without being too sweet, nostalgic without feeling like a time capsule.
We found it at Dust Temple.
Tucked away in Currumbin Valley on the Gold Coast, Dust Temple is a reimagined warehouse that's become a creative home for art, coffee, music and community. The space hosts artists, musicians, poets and events, while its café brings another layer of life to the venue.
A LITTLE OLD, A LITTLE NEW
What drew us to Dust Temple was its layers.
Raw concrete and industrial architecture sit alongside ornate frames, vintage artwork, warm timber, flowers and beautifully collected objects. Everywhere you turn, there's another interesting little corner.
That mix of old and new felt just right for Vintage Floral — a skate that takes the romance of vintage florals and gives it a distinctly modern Impala attitude.
ROMANCE IN BLOOM
Against Dust Temple's worn textures and old-world details, the rich floral print and antique-gold finishes of Vintage Floral really came to life.
Flowers appeared throughout the shoot, sometimes styled and sometimes simply held by Margo, bringing our Romance in Bloom story into the space without making things feel too perfect.
And that's exactly what we wanted. A little romantic. A little eclectic. A little unexpected.
MEET MARGO
At the centre of it all was Margo.
From spinning through the gallery to rolling between artworks and flowers, she brought an easy sense of fun to the campaign — reminding us that however beautiful the skate might be, it's even better once you put it on and start moving.
A CREATIVE GOLD COAST GEM
Dust Temple describes itself as a creative haven, and it's easy to see why. By day it's a café; beyond that, it's a gallery, event venue and gathering place for Currumbin's creative community, with programming including live music, poetry, life drawing and other creative events.
If you're on the southern Gold Coast, it's well worth discovering for yourself.
